What is going on in Sabha??

21/sept/11

The footage which CNN is showing is old, from when they just entered Sabha, no resistance at all, because it was a trap. When they advanced inwards they received heavy casualties and were forced to flee according to reports and sources within Libya.

Right now they are playing a propaganda war like they played in Sirte, they already retreated from Sirte but NATO media continually said they controlled part of the city. It is to decrease the moral of Libyans and make them surrender, but that won't happen.

The Sirte propaganda ended up being lies, they received heavy casualties then fled and waited for NATO to implement another round of terror operations.

That being said, wait a day or two, then they will be forced to report the truth.

At the small town of Ragdalin a similar trap was set, when civilians went and told NATO forces that the town had surrendered, once they entered the town, they were surrounded and received heavy casualties, many fled leaving their fellow Mercenaries behind to be killed or captured.

Edit - Sabha is the largest city in Fezzan.

surrounded is maybe not a good tactic. if you have them in town center, maybe. but even surrounded rats fight like killerbeasts. so I suspect they were partially enclosed.

Hey i remember for bani walid that the telegraph said that the people in city tell to rebels to enter the city and then were killed

GreenLibyaFreeLibya You have to remember that NATO Bomb every defense in the city , so its better to make guerrilla warfare then NATO cant intervene

It might sound crazy what You say, but I have to admit that previously such 'crazy' news turned out to be true in the end, even in western media (for example nato spec ops in Bani Walid or situation in Sirte)

Let's be honest - the NTC only hold parts of Tripoli and there are regular attacks on NATO-scum troops - protests and Green flags flying 2 days ago.
The NTC is still in Benghazi, becauuse Tripoli is not safe for them. Benghazi has seen protests and conflict between NTC factions and their idiot-troops. Uprisings against NTC have been taking place, because of tyranny of NTC rule.
Zawiya - lots of fighting and held by Green Gadaffi forces last I heard.
Al Khums - under attack by Green forces as are Brega and Ras Lanuf - where the oil goes from - supplies interrupted !

NTC has lied and lied - 'Tripoli celebrations' held in Qatar on a stage set - totally pathetic.

The people of Libya stand against the illegal NATO invasion and plunder operation - and they will win.
Viva Independent Libya Viva Gadaffi !!

Yes, I totally forgot about that, NTC quailing to move to Tripoli, despite promising it 3 times or more, is a very profound argument that something is going on there. You can also read from between the lines, even in Reuters and Al Jazeera, that the whole NTC gang is arguing heavily in its own circles.

sharpfang,

Why no pro-Green videos of current fighting and situation? Easy propaganda win. pro-Green don't have phones for pics etc.?

sharpfang, I mean from Tripoli.

Like this?
http://ozyism.blogspot.com/2011/09/tarhuna-residents-kick-nato-forces-out.html

I think most Libyans in certain parts of the country live in fear, after they saw what happened to their fellow countrymen, being burned alive, tortured to death, hanged in the streets, windows and light posts.

Anonymous said...

ozyism, yes. Why no such videos from Tripoli? Reports of fighting in Green square yesterday. Video major propaganda step. Tarhuna video widely circulated. No videos for Tripoli because no fighting or no cameras etc?

I agree Libyans don't want NATO or anyone's bombs on their heads or fighters with guns shooting their town up and fear a bad end. What this to do with lack of videos for reports?

It is from CNN playings its propaganda warfare, no one said it is fake, we just question the timing of the video, when was it taken, and why did casualties keep coming in? That is exactly what I said, hence, a trap which forced them to flee, according to reports and sources within Libya..

Just wait and see later reports, within a day or two then start celebrating for NATO. I don't think it is wise to do that now because NATO and its media has proved people like you wrong many times, and many times embarrassed because you started cheering for NATO too early then realized they were defeated again.

Like other cities only in my dream under control of NTC you better wake up only Bani walid and Sirte is not total control by NTC rest is in NTC control... rest of Libya 99%

Bani Walid, brave militiants straight from Reuters:

At Bani Walid, bored militiamen fired weapons at camels and sheep while awaiting orders on Wednesday, as much a danger to themselves as to Gaddafi fighters holed up in the town.

One man shot his own head off and killed another fighter while handling a rocket-propelled grenade in full view of a Reuters team. In another incident, a fighter lost control of his machinegun and sprayed himself and another fighter with bullets, seriously wounding both of them.

You lie many times too like mathaba like za za-kaddafi.ru
You are creating more fortune and want to make it so. There is no evidence for what you print. Finally always it turns to fairy tale. This can not be denied. How many times have liberated Misrate and other cities that are still under the control of the NTC, and as was the acquisition of Tripoli is the mystical number of units, there tended to defeat NTC all this fairy tale turned out.

The Timing of those announcements by NATO affiliates was for maximum effect before the UN general assembly to create an impression that NTC is fully in control of the situation, hence the retrogressive AU resolutions.Propaganda, half truths, falsehoods and innuendo is peddled by the MSM, at times its amazing, tell a lie several times and well it replaces the truth at least for a while only.

searching for truth is not equal to supporting either side. If town is taken or not or some taken some not - these are facts, if known. if person celebrate, is opinion of this fact. If person sad, same.

NATO extends Libya mission for another three months

There is no chance for Gaddafi.

The MSM from NATO countries and of course the famous Ajazeera http://www.readwriteweb.com/archives/wikileaks_takes_down_the_head_of_al_jazeera.php have been collaborating to create an impression albeit falsely that NTC is in control. This is a fallacy given the hurried nature Sarkozy, Cameroon and Erdogan had to visit Tripoli to create the impression that all is well. Their Lie is not forever.

You need to understand that NATO is trying very hard to control the flow of information, why else do you think they bombed the Libyan TV, hacked Libyan News sites and brought down other sites which presented conflicting reports to that of NATO.

This is war, and at war, conflicting reports will always emerge, the truth is only found when collectively analysing all reports, not just NATO propaganda.

I present reports which are not propagated by NATO therefore giving viewers the ability to analyse the situation fully, and not partially, not just based on NATO propaganda, but from both sides of the spectrum.

So let's make that clear here and not judge the content.

ozyism. Sorry for mispell of name!

ozyism.

NATO propaganda lies not mean alternative story true.

I say - Belhaj flees to Syria. Ghaddafi in control of Libya. All report to him.

Now you believe Belhaj fled, Ghaddafi in control?

Why no videos if constant and mounting fighting in Tripoli? Major propaganda for Green if true.

Why you say not judge content? Judge ALL content. NATO, western press, Green statements, all reports. No evidence = story, not news.

Too easy to make up stories. You have sources for your news? Ask why no videos.

It is just a real jock:
Since NATO task is to protect civilians in Libya, Top NATO officials have been wondering how to protect civilians in Sirte, Sabha and Bani Walid. One of them came up with an answer: The best way to protect pro GHdafy civilians is to kill them.
