Guardian: 'Dead bin Laden image is fake'

Well I'm not quick to jump to conclusions, but the pictures spread around the Internet is fake, and have been around for a long time now.

Photoshop, a photo manipulation software might have been used, but we are not sure.

You can see the similarities in the wounds around the eyes, the hair etc looks exactly like the middle photo.. The rest is from Osama bin Laden's photo in the left, for example the mouth looks exactly like the photo in the left. The nose looks exactly like the nose of the photo in the left, the same angle and everything. It is clear that photo manipulating softwares have been used to create this.

"The current photo showing on different websites claiming to be bin Laden's corpse has used two different photos, which has been used online for the last two years."

Also this might explain the abrupt burial of Osama bin Laden's supposed body in the sea, even though radical Muslims do not believe in making shrines of graves. It was not necessary to bury his body without taking even a photo. I remember they took a photo of the Iraqi insurgency leader when he was killed by American forces as evidence.

Iraqi Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki announced on Thursday that al Qaeda leader in Iraq Abu Musab al-Zarqawi had been killed in a joint U.S. and Iraqi military raid north of Baghdad.

Jordanian-born Zarqawi is blamed by the United States for the beheading of foreign captives and suicide bombings that have maimed and killed hundreds in Iraq. He had become a figurehead for Islamist militants opposing Washington and Maliki's government.
