Retired General Wisley Clark told in his testimony that
United States has planned to wage war against 7 countries around the world, which included Iraq, Syria, Libya, Sudan, Lebanon, Somalia and Iran. His testimony has been correct so far.
US invaded Iraq in 2003 based on fabricated lies, then soon after
Lebanon was attacked by US proxy state of Israel, then
Sudan was divided in half through the policy of "divide and conquer".
A proxy warfare was implemented against Libya, due to heavy/popular resistance, US was forced to attack Libya directly in the name of protecting civilians. Now Somalia and Syria are the next targets.
US continues to attack Somalia using its drones and proxy states in Africa, while the proxy war against Syria rages on.

That is not where it ends, Syria is not Libya, nor is Syria Iraq, nor is Syria Sudan, nor is Syria Somalia. Unlike Libya, Syria has Shiite allies, including in Iraq, Lebanon and Iran. All these three states are in close proximaty, or neighbor of Syria. That makes life extremely difficut for the plotters.
Iran sees Iraq as its first line of defense against US proxy state of Israel therefore, Iran will use any means necessary to keep the Syrian Government in power. Russia also gives Syria a strategic importance,
Russia has a Naval base in Syria and will not allow the Syrian Government to fall, just like
US did not allow the Bahraini Government to fall.
It is a big game of chess, Russia and Iran are certainly in a disadvantageous position. That being said, the fight is far from over.
The Syrian conflict could have been fully avoided if, and only if Russia and Iran stopped US plans in Libya. It would be unrealistic to believe that US could have redicrected its main focus to Syria after its objectives failed in Libya. Now that the Libyan Government has been toppled, US has one extra pawn to use in the chess board, and this pawn is very important in the diplomatic game.
Libya has been the heart of training ground for proxy forces against Syria, and
Libya is also sending large cache of weapons. Since there is no law and order in Libya, no one can hold Libya accountable in the diplomatic game.
Turkey (which is another US pawn and a member of NATO) has been the operational headquarter. US proxy forces receive their orders from Turkey and then they enter Syria to implement those orders.
Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Kuwait and Dubai are the financial and propaganda headquarters. Al-Jazeera which is owned by the Qatari regime has been
spreading sporadic rumors and lies against Syria since the beginning of the war. These rumors and lies not only help boost moral, but also help with the strategy of "divide and conquer". Turning Syrians against Syrians has been the main objective, and to some extent it has worked.
As US intensifies its proxy and propaganda warfare against Syria, Iran will intensify its own proxy war against US in Afghanistan and Pakistan. It is not a coincidence that
Iran opened an office for Taliban in its Eastern region, even though the Taliban are known for their unease relation with Shiites.
This is a threat to US, if US continues in its attempts to topple the Syrian Government, then Iran will continue to support and organize the ill equipped Afghan resistance, in the future we might see sophesticated weapons emerge in the hands of the resistance (let's keep an eye on that).
In the same manner, Iran can stir trouble in Pakistan, if Pakistan is destabilized enough then there is a dangerous threat of Pakistani nuclear weapons falling in to the hands of anti-American fighters. This will undoubtedly pressure US to detensify its proxy war against Syria. Recent reports indicate that
unknown fighters (assumed to be Taliban) have been continuously attacking an Airbase which poseses nuclear material.
Iranian proxy forces in Lebanon and
Iraq has been reportedly helping the Syrian Government in its fight against US proxy forces. Recently, a suspected
Hezbullah sniper was captured in Syria by US proxy forces, in response,
dozens of Syrian fighters were captured by Shiite gunmen in Lebanon.
The conflict over Syria has a potential to spread, it cannot be contained within Syria, it will reach the boudaries of Russia, for example the
recent attacks in Chechnya, and the boundaries of US through socialist governments in South America.
For US and Iran, the Syrian conflict is "make or break", the same applies to Russia. China in the other hand will not be affected by the conflict, although China would prefer Russia to remain a super power rather than US. That explains why China has been helping Russia in the
International Diplomatic Games. China however has been reluctant to do anything more than that, because she is confident that the Syrian conflict will not effect her unlike Iran, Russia or the US.
US proxy states in the middle east could fall one by one which will resemble the
proxy states of USSR during its collapse. That is, if Syria stands. But if Syria falls, Russia could disintegrate. Rebelling states such as Chechnya, Dagestan, and Ingushetia could break apart with the help of US and its +2 pawn Syria/Libya, on top of that, an internal uprising could make matters even worse.
Now for the big question, why is US willing to risk it all? The answer could be simpler than some might think, it has a lot to do with its financial situation.
Corruption has brought the US economy to its knees, and the future generation of US has inheritted a
huge debit that can not be paid realistically. So what is the solution? The solution is a world conflict, at the end of this conflict, all debt will be muted, the winner takes all. It is a big risk, but for a country that has nothing to loose, it is a risk worth taking. US has no future,
countries around the world are planning to abandon the US Dollar, which is the only variable that keeps the American economy at the brink of collapse.
